Most of today's skirts and dresses are being made with " built in liners" thus eliminating the need to wear slips.  Most young woman don't wear slips at all.

 Do you think that slips will eventually be discontinued?

 You have brought up a great observation that goes to show that progress isn’t always for the better.

 The skirts and dresses of today that come pre-lined, eliminating the need for slips is much like when pantyhose were invented.  It’s a convenience thing.  And while I suppose they have their place in today’s world, with women working and not having time to mess with slips, I don’t think they will disappear totally.  I believe that most women still have the desire to be feminine and sexy, especially for the right guy, or maybe when trying to find the right guy.  I don’t know about you, but slipping on a soft pair of stockings, letting a silky, lacey slip fall over my warm flesh, and having fun, sexy undergarments on under my clothes gives me that womanly confidence I need to make me feel like a sexy seductress.  So, while stockings have survived the age of pantyhose, I’m confident that the slip will survive also.  As long as women want to feel sexy and feminine, and as long as men appreciate a woman doing that little extra to show him she cares, slips will continue to be around.  Heck, what is sexier in a movie than that shot with the woman’s slip dropping silently, softly to the floor as she embraces her man.  How could something as iconic as that disappear from society?

Your opinion, I read somewhere recently that Chemise's are replacing slips. Can you wear a chemise under a dress?  Also chemise's don't come with lace's on the hem.  Where is the sexyness of a lace hem showing from under a dress or skirt?

Let me answer both of your questions here.  I have found some lovely slips on Ebay before!  The chemise is a waist length top and as such you can wear it with a dress or skirt if it shows. Otherwise I wouldn't bother with it because it serves no practical use. Thank you again for the questions.

 My wife has a hard time attaching garters to her stockings. Seems like you need to be a contortionist to attached them. She sometimes gets frustrated
 and well there goes the mood. Is there a special way to put them on or is there a better clip that works differently to hold the stocking? Thanks Mike

First of all, don’t let it get frustrating for either of you.  I don’t know if you help her or not, but relax, take your (or her) time and think about the reason for wearing them, not the actual work involved.

 I guess I’ll address some basics first.  Make sure the stockings are the right size.  Make sure the garter straps are adjusted to the right length (if they are adjustable that is).  Don’t make it harder than it already is by trying to pull up a stocking that is too short and connect it to a strap that is too short.  From experience, the more you use a garter belt, the easier it gets. I’ve also found that the garters with the metal clips seem to work a little easier and they are much more durable. 

 Remember, your wife is treating you to something very special , so don’t get frustrated if it takes longer than you want for her to get ready.  If helping her isn’t part of the plan, then make sure you put forth the effort to let her know how appreciative you are, make it worth her while when she gets them done!

To be honest, I have a hard time picking a favorite photo set.   I really enjoy posing on cars and motorcycles, like Hood Ornament, Classic Wheels & Classy Chassis.  I think Backseat Strip is another excellent set especially if you like long curls. Another more memorable photo set was me posing in my bath tub,  I found that wet stockings clinging to my legs was not only fun but felt really really good.  A memorable time was shooting Hauntingly Beautiful because the wind came up out of nowhere and seemed to enhance the whole experience. I was pleasantly surprised that it turned out especially since wind can be a problem and not always cooperate with Tom's photography (or my hair). But I think my all-time favorite set is Bareback where I finally posed on my horse that I had for many years of growing up. I once saw photo of singer "Tane' Cain" years earlier  that put the idea in my head.
As you can see I have trouble picking a favorite set, and I think you will too.

I am to marry my gorgeous fiancée Alison on March 3rd and she would like to wear ivory-coloured seamed stockings, but we’ve looked all over the Internet and can’t find any. Mercedes - you used to do pictures in public places at one time. Now it is just in your back yard or in a remote area. What is the reason for this? It sure seemed alot more fun when you were doing public place photos - thanks - Joe

 It's not easy getting enough quality shots in a public setting these days to put together a set to sell. With all of the changing attitudes about erotic photo's, it's not like the "old days" when I could just go out and have the pictures taken without worrying about spending the night in jail or something. Not that I consider any of my photos anything close to what would be considered something to get me in trouble, but it's just easier to take them where I don't have to worry about that. So I've decided to keep the majority of my work in places where the photo's can be taken without the worries of outsiders interfering.

Thanks so much for the nice complement.  There is something special about the classic look of stockings, be it rh&t, ff or any other styles.  Over the years I’ve figured out how to better pose to show off the stockings, so that my fans get the full effects of their charm I want to share.   I’m glad you, and the rest of my fans enjoy the pictures.

Occasionally I buy my wife imported lingerie and I haven't quite gotten the equivalent size differences. Some items are in metric measurement. Is there any guide that lists what American sizes correspond to European sizes?

Thanks for the great question.  I still have to stop and think before I order anything from overseas.  There are some wonderful things out there, but getting the correct size isn't always easy.  I've copied a few suggested links that I've used in the past to help in getting the right size when I order from outside the US.  I hope this helps.  Thanks for writing.

 A fair, but embarrassing question…thanks for asking.  Probably my most embarrassing time was my wedding day..  We women want everything to be perfect, that’s just how we are.  So, imagine my embarrassment when, walking down the isle for the ceremony, Tom tells me that my garters and stockings were showing through my wedding dress.  I wasn’t wearing a slip and my girlfriend who helped me get dressed never mentioned it to me.  So, imagine my situation, knowing I’m showing my stockings and garters as I stand there in the front of the church!! I also had to turn around and walk back down the isle!! It also explained a lot of things later, like the way the minister was smiling and looking at me!

Can you tell me why fully fashioned seamed stockings snag and ladder so easily?  After many months of requests one of my ex's friends finally agreed to do some modeling for me.  For a lady in her fifties she has wonderfully shaped legs and ankles and I just knew we'd get some really great shots.  I had specially bought some very expensive signature stockings in black, brown, light tan and white.  All but the white snagged as she was putting them on.  We couldn't work out why.  It wasn't her nails, they were long but manicured and we came to the conclusion it was the act of pulling the stocking over foot and along the leg.  Expensive stockings should be more resilient!

It is tough to answer exactly why without actually being there to see the stockings, or your friend putting them on.  Sometimes on the expensive stockings, little things like rough-cracked skin can catch, or maybe a toenail, hangnail, etc.  But having not actually been there, I can't say for sure.  Some tips for next time, maybe a pedicure before she tries to put them on, make sure she's shaved her legs, and do anything to keep everything smooth and soft before attempting to put the stockings on.  Another tip, maybe buy some cheaper stockings for the photo shoot.  Sometimes they are tougher, and if they aren't, at least you didn't waste as much money.

I'm not sure why the pictures are being blocked on your computer.  Sometimes virus protection software will block pictures  and you have to "right-click" to show them when the browser loads.  If you're on a network, sometimes network administrators have certain sites or types of sites that won't allow pictures to show.  I've asked other readers, and they are not having the problem you are.  I'm sorry I can't help you more on that one, and I'm sorry you can't see my pictures.
As for "boob shots", that's not what my site is about.  There is no nudity anywhere on the site.  If you're looking for boob shots and more, you'll have to find another site.  I don't charge for access to my site, only for photo sets and worn items.  I'm all about promoting the wearing of stockings, garters, slips, all those things that not only make a woman look sexy, but also make her feel sexy.  I believe that the imagination is a wonderful thing, and leaving some things to the imagination is what you'll find on my site.

Sorry to disappoint, but I don't have private videos, pictures, or anything like you are looking for.  I don't run a porn site.  I'm all about promoting stockings and slips, all those sexy things that make a woman feel sexy and seductive and make men's imagination's run wild.  I'm sure there are more than enough sites out there that have what you are looking for, and I'm not in competition with them.  I'm simply promoting the allure and mystique of women when they wear sexy things like stockings and slips.

Of course I sleep in sexy nightwear, but not every night.  What woman doesn’t like the feel of soft silky lingerie against their skin at night?  I also enjoy sleeping in oversized men’s dress shirts.  I guess it all depends on my mood that night  just what I wear.  As for doing photo sets in sexy nighties…. I’ve done some in the past, but maybe it’s time to do some more, it’s been a while.  Thanks for the idea!

 I think you have some good ideas on the old stuff.  I'll see if there is anything I can do to revive the early day pictures.  Part of that issue is they are of a lesser quality, but maybe that would add to the appeal of them.
